Regarding After-Sales Services

The attached letter forwarded to our Union by the Ministry of Trade states that instruction manuals and warranty documents for various products offered to consumers in the furniture sector are not being issued, and that companies are not enabling consumers to exercise their rights under warranty in accordance with the legislation, leading to consumer grievances. It further indicates that administrative fines may be imposed on companies failing to comply with relevant legal provisions, depending on the nature of the violation, under Article 77 of Law No. 6502. Accordingly, to prevent consumer grievances and ensure that your members operating in the furniture sector are not subject to administrative sanctions during inspections, we kindly request that you inform them about aligning their procedures and practices with the legislation.
