About TAREKS Applications

Dear Members,

In the letter conveyed to our Union by the Ministry of Trade; it is stated that the fixed reference number practice previously in place under the provision titled "Declaration of TAREKS reference number to customs" in Product Safety and Inspection (ÜGD) Circulars No. 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 25 has been abolished. A change has been introduced whereby out-of-scope declarations must now be submitted directly through the Risk-Based Inspection System in Foreign Trade (TAREKS) instead of customs administrations, with transition periods limited to products with transport documents issued before January 1, 2026.
