Overtime Implementation at Customs Offices During the Closure Process of Export Declarations

According to the letter received from the Ministry of Trade, it has been requested that necessary measures be taken in consideration of the existing legislation provisions regarding overtime practices at customs offices in order to meet export demands until August 31, 2026.

The letter sent to the Regional Directorates of Customs and Foreign Trade emphasizes that utmost care must be taken to ensure uninterrupted export and related customs procedures, so that all processes of export declarations can be completed swiftly.

In this context, it is crucial that export declarations are both registered at the relevant Customs Directorates and that all procedures, including inspection of registered declarations, are expedited, with all stakeholders in the process being duly informed.
