Vahap Munyar was awarded the "Honorary Membership Certificate"

Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO) presented the "Honorary Membership Certificate" to Malatya-born Vahap Munyar, President of the Journalists Association of Turkey and General Coordinator of Ekonomi Gazetesi.

Malatya TSO, which has decided to award the "Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Honorary Membership Certificate" to one individual in each service period, chose Vahap Munyar, President of the Journalists Association of Turkey and General Coordinator of Ekonomi Gazetesi, as the recipient for this term.

48 YEARS OF SUCCESSFUL CAREER

Speaking at the certificate presentation ceremony attended by Malatya TSO council members, heads of guild chambers, and producer union presidents, Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, President of the Board of Directors of Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO), said, "With the proposal of our board of directors and the unanimous decision of our council, we are honored to present the honorary membership certificate to our fellow citizen Vahap Munyar, who has made significant contributions to the field of journalism throughout his 48-year successful career, actively participated in every stage of our city's social and economic life, and provided valuable contributions to the promotion of Malatya. Vahap Munyar not only excels in economic journalism but also makes significant contributions to Malatya by highlighting our city's production, trade, entrepreneurial spirit, and potential on national and international platforms. His support in ensuring the effective presence of our chamber's activities in the public eye is also highly valuable to us."

President Sadıkoğlu stated that they will continue to stand by every value contributing to Malatya's recognition on national and international platforms and its development journey.

Vahap Munyar, who stated that the Honorary Membership Certificate presented by Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a great honor for him, said in his speech: "I consider being born in Malatya as my greatest fortune. Writing down my thoughts has always been a passion for me, and I deeply love my hometown. I chose journalism to do both simultaneously. At least half of the news and articles I have written to date are about Malatya. I have received many awards, but today, the Honorary Membership Certificate presented by Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a great honor for me personally. This certificate also brings with it the responsibility to write even more about Malatya and its economy in the future. I would like to thank Board President Mr. Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, the council members, and everyone who contributed."

Following the speeches, President Sadıkoğlu presented Vahap Munyar with the "Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Honorary Membership Certificate."

In the previous term, the Honorary Membership Certificate was awarded to Prof. Dr. Sezai Yılmaz, Director of the Liver Transplantation Institute at İnönü University, who brought Malatya's name to the world with successful liver transplants and made significant contributions to health tourism.
