Dear Members,

Applications for grant support targeting Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) have commenced under the "Socio-Economic Participation and Employment Project to Support Registered Employment in Türkiye," implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

The project aims to strengthen the capacities of businesses, increase sustainable registered employment, and support the labor force participation of disadvantaged groups (refugees, women, youth). In line with this, businesses will be supported in improving their operations, with the condition of employing at least two new registered employees (one Turkish citizen and one Syrian under temporary protection or a person under international protection).

Applications are open to SMEs operating in the provinces of Adana, Adıyaman, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kayseri, Kilis, Konya, Malatya, and Mersin, with 10–50 employees. Priority will be given to criteria such as social impact, innovative business models, and employment commitments for women and persons with disabilities, with a maximum grant support of 10,000 USD per business. Applications must be submitted online via the IOM Türkiye EDF website (http://turkiye.edf.iom.int) by September 7, 2025, at the latest.
