TARSIM Policy Applications Information Meeting Held

Under the leadership of our 15th Professional Committee (Insurance Agents), an informative meeting on TARSİM Policy Applications was organized with the participation of TARSİM Malatya Regional Manager Bülent Zelyurt.

In his opening speech, our Deputy Assembly President Ayhan Altunok stated the following: "Just like in every sector, we face significant challenges in our insurance sector as well. We voice our issues on every platform and follow up for their resolution. Today, we are here together to learn about the latest developments in TARSİM. Apricots, the lifeblood of Malatya's economy, can suffer serious damage due to changing weather conditions. TARSİM insurance is undoubtedly the most crucial support for our apricot producers against natural disasters. The agricultural frost we experienced last year is the most recent example of this. As insurance agents, we play a vital role as a bridge between TARSİM and our producers. As the 15th Professional Committee, we address our issues in meetings. Our Chamber management also presents these issues in files to our umbrella organization, TOBB. The submitted files are discussed in TOBB's Turkey Insurance Agents Sector Assembly, and the outcomes are sent to the relevant ministries. Please, bring your issues to us, no matter what they are."

Following Altunok's speech, TARSİM Malatya Regional Manager Bülent Zelyurt provided information. The scope of agricultural insurance, policy processes, damage notifications, and compensation practices, along with current legislation and field-related issues, were discussed.
