We have become sister chambers with Osmaniye CCI.

A sister chamber protocol was signed between the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The signing ceremony was attended by Oğuzhan Ata Sadıkoğlu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MTSO), Devrim Murat Aksoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OTSO), and the board members and assembly members of both chambers.

“WE WILL ADD STRENGTH TO OUR 102-YEAR LEGACY TOGETHER”

Chairman Sadıkoğlu emphasized the unique bond between Malatya and Osmaniye, stating, “Many of our fellow citizens migrated to Osmaniye in the past, settled there, and have been living there for several generations. There are many Malatya natives who have achieved success in trade and politics in Osmaniye. For this reason, we attach great importance to Osmaniye. Osmaniye is a significant city for our national economy. With its EU Geographical Indication-certified peanut agriculture, peanut processing factories, and iron and steel sector, Osmaniye has a dynamic economy and is among the provinces we closely follow. The economy of Malatya, with its apricot agriculture, apricot processing factories, livestock, and textile sector, has a similar structure to Osmaniye. Therefore, we believe that the protocol our chambers are about to sign will lead to many shared topics in the future. Osmaniye, like our Malatya, was deeply affected by the major earthquakes on February 6, the disaster of the century. God willing, we will heal our wounds together as sister chambers. As the Malatya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with 10,600 members, we are the strongest civil society organization in our city. Our chamber, established in 1923 with the proclamation of the Republic, is now 102 years old. The Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also established in 1923, is one of the oldest chambers in our country. From today onwards, we will add strength to our 102-year legacy together. Undoubtedly, the signatures we will put today will add significant value to our chambers. I wish our Sister Chamber Protocol to be beneficial to our chambers, our cities, and our country.”

“WE INVITE MALATYA BUSINESS PEOPLE TO INVEST IN OUR CITY”

Devrim Murat Aksoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OTSO), also noted the long-standing fraternal bond between the two cities, stating, “There is a significant population of Malatya natives living in Osmaniye. We have been living together as brothers and sisters for many years. Chairman Oğuzhan and I already have a strong fraternal bond, and today we will sign to make our chambers sisters. Our Osmaniye has important commercial activities in agriculture and livestock. Our industry is open to development. We invite Malatya business people to invest in our city. Our city, close to the port, has various investment advantages. We invite them to take advantage of these opportunities. Our sister chamber protocol will add significant value to our chambers. I wish our Sister Chamber Protocol to be beneficial to our chambers, our cities, and our country.”

Following the speeches, the sister chamber protocol was signed mutually by the chairmen of the board of directors.
