New Implementation Regarding the Closure of Export Declarations for NCTS Declarations.

According to an announcement published by the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Trade, a new systemic development has been implemented for the closure procedures of export declarations linked to transit declarations. This development went live on September 14, 2026.

Under the new application, in cases where multiple NCTS declarations are present on the same vehicle, the MRN numbers of other NCTS declarations, apart from the declaration undergoing the exit/arrival process, must also be recorded in the system during the procedure.

In this context, while NCTS procedures are being carried out at the exit/arrival customs office, it is important to present the other NCTS declarations on the same vehicle to the relevant customs office and to report the MRN information accurately and completely. Export declarations linked to NCTS declarations recorded in the system will be automatically closed by the system.

Therefore, if transportation is carried out with multiple NCTS declarations on the same vehicle, all documents related to the NCTS declarations physically present on the vehicle must be submitted to the exit/arrival customs office, and the MRN information of a declaration not present on the vehicle should not be reported.
