On the Canadian Government's Outcome-Based Public Procurement Policy

The attached letter provides information on the regulation by the Canadian Government that allows restrictive measures in public procurement for countries that do not grant free access to the Canadian market under the Reciprocal Procurement Policy. The letter states that the regulation aims to enhance the competitiveness of Canadian companies and promote domestic production in the said country, as detailed in the letter. Additionally, it is explained that the first phase of the regulation, which can be accessed for detailed information through the links provided in the letter, came into effect on July 14, 2025, and the second phase, which will permanently implement the regulation, will be activated at a date to be determined in the future.
