Exemption from Inspection for Light Commercial Vehicles

Dear Members,

Recently, our Union has received requests from our Chambers and Commodity Exchanges regarding the exemption of pickup trucks from inspections at Highway Inspection Stations.

These requests have been conveyed to the relevant authorities and followed up. In the official correspondence sent by the General Directorate of Highways, it was stated that only pickup trucks found to be carrying improper or irregular loads, thereby endangering traffic safety, will be subject to inspection. The response letter from the General Directorate of Highways and sample images of pickup trucks are attached for your reference.
