Applications for the Manufacturing Industry Employment Protection Program Have Commenced

The Manufacturing Industry Employment Protection Program, implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, has been launched with an expanded scope and improved financing conditions in the second term of 2026. The program aims to facilitate access to finance for businesses operating in the manufacturing industry, sustain their production capacities, and maintain current employment levels.

Under the program, SMEs and large enterprises meeting the necessary conditions are offered the opportunity to utilize loans with a principal payment deferral of up to 6 months and a maturity of up to 36 months. A 12-point interest or profit share support will be provided for the utilized loans. The maximum credit limit per enterprise is set at 50 million TL for SMEs and 150 million TL for large enterprises. Additionally, guarantee facilities can be provided through relevant institutions to meet the collateral needs of SMEs.

To benefit from the program, businesses are required to maintain their average monthly premium days from the January-June 2026 period during the July-December 2026 period. Program applications are accepted through KOSGEB's online system (istihdamikoruma.sanayi.gov.tr) between September 1 and October 31, 2026. The loans under the program must be utilized by December 31, 2026, at the latest.
