Online Transactions in Telecommunications Equipment Import

Through the Circular dated October 21, 2025, numbered 6685/311 (a sample of which is attached), issued by the Moroccan authorities, it has been announced that the Moroccan Customs Administration and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) are collaborating within the framework of the national plan for simplifying procedures and promoting electronic data exchange.

The document explains that, as a result of this cooperation, an electronic data exchange system has been established via the PORTNET Platform, the Single Window for Customs Procedures, concerning the import processes of telecommunications equipment. It also provides information on the primary objectives of this procedure.

Furthermore, the document states that it would be beneficial to inform your relevant sector members via email about the provisions of the Circular and to direct them to the Rabat Commercial Counsellor's Office (rabat@ticaret.gov.tr) for additional information on the matter.
