New Design of Work Permit Documents

In the letter forwarded to our Union by the Ministry of Trade, it is stated that studies have been completed to enhance the security level of work permits and their protection against forgery, as well as to implement security technologies similar to those used in high-security documents for work permits.

In this context, it is indicated that the printing, personalization, and distribution processes of the newly designed permits will commence as of March 2026. As in the current practice, the verification of work permit cards can be performed either via the QR code on the card or through the "Foreigners' Work Permit, Work Permit Exemption, and Turquoise Card Information Query System" available at https://izinsorgula.csgb.gov.tr.

The letter further states that previously issued work permits that have not yet expired will continue to be valid during this period.
