Sectoral Demands Regarding the EU-India Free Trade Agreement

Dear Member,

The requests regarding the practices related to foreign trade legislation and the issues arising in foreign trade, conveyed to our Union by our Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, are forwarded to the Ministry of Trade, and the response letters received from the aforementioned Ministry are shared with our business community.

This time, the applications made to our Union regarding the potential adverse consequences that the Free Trade Agreement, which has completed the negotiation process but has not yet entered into force between the European Union and India, may bring for our country's leather and olive oil sectors, have been submitted to the Ministry's opinion, and the response letter received on the matter is attached.
