Extension of Safeguard Measure on Hot Rolled Flat Steel from Morocco

Dear Members,

Following the investigation conducted by the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade regarding the extension of the current measure applied to the import of hot-rolled steel, it has been stated that the import measures for the specified HS codes in the letter have been extended for an additional three (3) years. The letter further mentions that the measure will be gradually reduced over the years and will be zeroed out by June 19, 2029. The public notice regarding the investigation and the final results have been shared as attachments to the letter.
